President Barack Obama ends the Combat in Iraq.

August 31st, 2010

WASHINGTON – Fiercely opposed to the war from the start, President Barack Obama formally ended the U.S. combat role in Iraq after seven long years of bloodshed, declaring firmly Tuesday night: “It is time to turn the page.” Claiming no victory, he said the nation’s most urgent priority now must be fixing its own sickly economy.

From the Oval Office, where George W. Bush first announced the invasion that would come to define his presidency, Obama addressed millions who were divided over the war in his country and around the world. He said the United States “has paid a huge price” to give Iraqis the chance to shape their future — a price that now includes more than 4,400 dead, tens of thousands of troops wounded and hundreds of billions of dollars spent since March 2003.

I Just Can’t Wait.

August 26th, 2010

I’m loving it. The NBA, NFL, and NHL Seasons will be starting up real soon. During this time of the year, every night or every other night I get to see some action from the Warriors or the Sharks, and every week I get to see the Niners tear it up. You will also see me stuck on my phone checking out the latest league news to keep my Fantasy Teams on top. =)

September 9th 2010 – The opening day of the NFL. I was born in a 49er home. For the first time since 2002, I have a good feeling coming into the season. We have a solid team…but it will all depends if Alex Smith shows up this season. Which I’m sure he will. Playoffs? =)

October 7th 2010 – The opening day of the NHL. The Sharks will be starting where they left off…for sure Playoffs again this year. They are one of the NHL’s hottest teams and hopefully they make it to the final as they were so close to last year.

October 26th 2010 – The opening day of the NBA. The 10-11 season is where the Warriors will be turning everything around. Stephen, David, and Monte will be breathing down every team’s back.

For the Warriors fans, an early Christmas present.

August 3rd, 2010

The Golden State Warriors will be hosting the Portland Trail Blazers on Christmas day! The game will begin 7:30pm Pacific time. This will be the first time the Warriors will be playing on Christmas day since 1984 when they played against the Trail Blazers in Portland. This would be a great way to spend time with your family on Christmas Day and your favorite NBA team.

An exciting NBA season opener.

August 3rd, 2010

The NBA tip-off will be an exciting one. The Estern Conference Champs, the Boston Celtics, will be hosting the newly revamped Miami Heat. The trio of Garnett, Allen, & Pierce who joiced forces to win an NBA championship will be facing off against the new trio of LeBron, Wade, & Bosh who joiced forces in Miami to do the exact same thing.

The game will tip off at 7:30pm Eastern time, 4:30pm Pacific. Following the game will be the returning Champions, the L.A. Lakers, who will be competing against the Houston Rockets.

The NBA season opener will be on October 26th, save the date! And get ready for an exciting season.

Golden State “$450M” Warriors

July 15th, 2010

Damn, who knew a team without a Kobe or LeBron can cost so much? =P

Warrior Fans, it’s time to rejoice to the Basketball Gods, Chris Cohan is no more. He sold the team this morning…not to the Oracle man Larry Ellison but to Joseph Lacob and Peter Guber. Mr Lacob is a part owner of the Celtics, and Guber is the CEO of Mandalay Entertainment…so both men are made out of money. Here are some words from Lacob from an interview by Marcus Thompson of ibabuzz.com.

“We’re there. We got it. We’re all about winning.”
“The No. 1 thing (fans need to know): we’re going to do our damnedest to bring the Warriors to respectability on the basketball court.”

I just hope this guy backs up his words and I hope he know’s his basketball. One thing for sure tho…just like every year, I’m excited to watch some Warriors ball.

One more thing.
A BIG “FUCK YOU” TO CHRIS COHAN.

The Miami Heat got some heat.

July 8th, 2010

Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh, and now, LeBron James are players of the Miami Heat.

Some people are going to call this a domination. I’m going to call this a bomb that’s slowly waiting to explode. I have this strange feeling that this will be great in the beginning, but sooner or later, someone is going to get greedy. What do you think?

A.R.T. x Lil Wayne “Goon To A Goblin (A Milli Remix)”
(click link to listen)

The other day I remixed Lil Wayne’s “A Milli”. I was going for a more “indie” vibe with this but I’m not sure if  I got it haha. I still think it’s pretty dope none the less. Give it a listen. More coming soon
