It’s been 56 years since the Giants last won the world Championship in their franchise, and it’s been long overdue. But it’s also the first Championship they’ve won since leaving New York to come to San Francisco. It took them 5 games to finish off the Texas Rangers, and they did it with great effort.

Tim Lincecum did an amazing job with 10 strikeouts and was replaced with Brian Wilson in the bottom of the ninth and ended it with 2 strikeouts. Edgar Renteria was the one who gave the Giants the 3-0 advantage on the top of the 7th with a homerun, he won the MVP title.

This team was not based off an amazing superstar, but great players who all wanted to strive for a Championship title, and that’s exactly what they did. Their pitchers were almost flawless throughout the playoff run. Bruce Bochy did an amazing job with this team, and I’m pretty sure I speak for everyone when I say, thank you for building an outstanding team and bringing us to the World Series.

To all the fans, lets celebrate in a great fashion, and have a great time at the Parade on Wednesday.
